Stimulate Hair growth through Scalp massage

One of the hair care tips I have researched on a lot  that will stimulate hair growth is scalp massage. oh yea! I am sure y'all have heard of it. I am just too lazy to use my fingers which won't even last upto 5 minutes so I decided to get a helper to assist me on my scalp massage journey...lol.
Meet the Scalp massager
I got this from Jumia, and it was really cheap for N580 and no, it is not electric (the electric one works more through a vibrational motion). The teeth is made made of silicone material and so is not hard on your scalp.  It needs to be guided by your hands which I personally feel is better than using my fingers alone and also no too much pressure so you do not irritate or injure your scalp.
Scalp massage should  be done in slow circular motions as this gives a rhythmic flow to the movement thereby enhancing relaxation as well.

Benefits of scalp massage
  • Enhances blood circulation to hair follicles
  • Helps to spread sebum around your scalp ie lubricates the scalp
  • Stimulates hair growth
  • Prevents dandruff as a result of sebum spreading around the scalp
  • Reduces stress which can worsen hair loss
  • Strengthens the hair shaft/root
  • Using the scalp massage brush while shampooing your hair can help remove dirt and grime
More...
Enhance your scalp massage by adding an essential oil like lavender or peppermint to the carrier oil/shampoo/conditioner/moisturiser you would be using and it can be done anytime and anywhere you feel like it both on wet and dry hair.
Do you do scalp massages and how goes it๐Ÿ˜Š

  1. Hello! Yeah I do scalp massages once in a while. I do it with my fingers and castor oil and it's for 5 mins. Maybe I'd try this massager. Thanks for sharing :)
